The question for this month is: “What seeds are you planting?”
This is a timely question because we celebrate Father’s Day in June.
But this is not only a question for fathers…it is for every man.
The seeds a Black man can plant in his lifetime can be represented
by his children. The seeds you are planting during your lifetime can
also be represented by the lives you touch who are not your children.
You can sow seeds into another life through mentoring. You can also sow seeds into someone’s life through your encouragement to motivate them to reach their full potential. Your life story is a seed.
Are you authoring a life story that will show someone how to overcome obstacles no matter what they endure?
What seeds are you planting?
What seeds are you planting in your career?
What seeds are you planting as a Black man?
What seeds are you planting as a father?
What seeds are you planting as a mentor?
Every seed you plant is sowing into your legacy.
You may not live to see the fruit of some of your seeds,
but your legacy will live on. That fruit can nourish the
lives of future generations if you are planting the right seeds.
