I had the pleasure of being a guest speaker on the Perri Small Show on the radio station WVON
on September 27, 2022. During this live show we discussed how Black men are being left out
of opportunities and resources that are available compared to Black women.
One of the Black men who called in talked about how Black men feel disrespected by Black women. That is a topic for a future discussion, because usually the real problem with that issue is miscommunication.
A lot of the discussion centered around Black men not feeling respected, appreciated or seen.
At the root of all of these issues is Black men not feeling valued.
How can you measure the value of Black men?
Our ancestors literally had a price placed on their heads to determine their value.
It is unfortunate that we still live in a society that is questioning the value of Black men.
It is important for you to know your value as a Black man.
You are invaluable beyond measure, and more powerful than you will ever know.
When you don’t know your value you don’t know how powerful you are.
Reclaim your power in spaces that make you feel valued.
These spaces can be organizations for Black men, recreational activities,
places of worship, therapy, home, friendship circles, etc.
The Black Men Healing Circle is designed exclusively for Black men
to help you reclaim your power so you can reach your full potential.
Black men you are respected, appreciated and seen.
Most importantly, you are valued!
