A common phrase is birds of a feather flock together.
Another popular phrase is that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.
This is why an important question you need to constantly ask yourself is: “Who is in your circle?”
Are the people you are allowing into your life lifting you up or bringing you down?
You may have different inner circles for different areas of your life.
For example, you may have a work crew and a workout crew.
You may have friends you can go out with, and friends you can grow with.
It is important to know ‘who’, ‘what’ and ‘why’ when you examine your inner circles.
Who is in your circle?
What kind of impact are they having on your life?
Why are they in your life?
You may find your inner circles changing and getting smaller as you strive to heal and improve your life. The same friends you were able to go out with to have fun may not be the same friends you will be able to grow with in life as you become more successful.
A common reason many Black men join The Sid Center’s Black Men Healing Circle is because
they want to be surrounded by other Black men who will support each other’s healing, growth
and success.
They want to be able to share their dreams, goals and successes without any judgment.
They want to enjoy the rare experience of truly being free to be themselves in a circle of
Black men who will lift them up instead of hold them down.
Do you want to be in a circle of Black men who will provide a safe space for you to heal, grow and succeed?
Reserve your spot now for The Sid Center’s Black Men Healing Circle Spring Gathering.
